This is NOT written by me ...but I had to share!!

The following is a poem that my very good friend and co-worker Steve wrote. I love it and just had to share it with the world! This is how I feel when I am lucky enough to see the sunrise on my way to work...Thanks again Stevo!! :D


In the Morning

Dawn etches a sketch of landscape with early day dew
The beautiful horizon provides a glimpse into eternity
Post modern ideologies refuted by an irrefutable signature
A vibrant bow proceeds the sudden shower of crystal liquid
What was I depressed about again?

The chorus of synchronized winged beings so sweet,
like Honey dew melon or even the freshest cantaloupe,
is almost edible and nourishes like a hefty dish of revelation
Chlorophyll encased in verdant leaves of russet apple trees
I’m strained to remember what bothered me…

A warm hug covers the setting, enrapturing morning chill
Still waters are titillated by tickling breezes & northerly winds
Love’s lexicon is inscribed through all the surface & visible
Still, even despite earnest efforts to deface it. Oh yeah, now I
Recall… I felt alone.

It's the MOST wonderful time of the year!!

Yay!!! The Halloween season is upon us...and I am in Heaven! :D My family just loves Halloween and we always go "all out". This my boyfriend has two costumes..He is weird I know...but he is very passionate about it. He always insists on creating his costumes himself. I think that is very admirable. The closest I have come to doing this is going to the thrift store and buying the mismatched clothes for my "Ugly Betty" costume. LOL. I will keep you all posted (maybe) as to how it all goes for the whole family. Hopefully I will remember to take LOTS of pics and share em with you all! Hope you all have a great Halloween too!!!

Today I am excited because I opened an email from Ticketmaster REMINDING me [i need it cuz i forget everything] that I have tix for the Citizen Cope show at The Vic on Friday! I actually had forgotten that I bought the tix! LOL! So...expect to read a post sometime after..maybe not the weekend but definitely this time next week! I cannot wait! :)

Music I am currently "in to" ...

i have to say there really is so much out there...it is really hard to keep up!

right now i am listening to Eric Hutchinson. I love Pandora's BlackBerry app. I use it all day practically. I have an Eric Hutchinson Radio station and right now I love a couple songs from his CD Sounds Like This . They are "Rock and Roll" and "You've Got You" . On that same station I can hear some of my fave songs such as "Hey Girl" from O.A.R. (Of a Revolution). I love how Pandora plays the songs that I already love but sometimes introduces me to songs that I may not have heard. I like "Sweet Pea" by Amos Lee [you may remember it was the song for the AT&T cellular phone commercial awhile back]. One thing I don't like on this station is John Mayer's CD Continuum. I don't care for his sound on that CD, but I do like when he plays "bluesy" music. Did I mention I also LOVE Matisyahu and Trevor Hall? I love "Unity" . Well...those are my current picks. Does anyone have any others that they would like to suggest? Feel free to share.

Does anyone out there even give a S***???
